hanging high
So... the night sky last week was absolutely beautiful. I tried to take some pics but the clouds were moving so fast so it didn't make for photographing. I did, however, sit there for a while and enjoy watching it. After a while the endless rows of clouds moved away and the moon was left on its lonesome own-some. Stunning stunning stunning...

I'm quite happy
Today's a gorgeous day! It's my gran's birthday party, so while she's chatting to all her fellow granny friends I'll be going snap-happy. This past week we had one lovely day of rain (if you can call it that much) and another 4 days of pleasant-ish warmth. But February is around the corner so I'll keep my mouth shut and enjoy the low 30's while I can. Have a wonderful weekend, everyone :)

Bodiam Castle
I recently looked through my travelling photos (nostalgia!) and forgot about this beauty called Bodiam Castle. It's in Kent, if I'm not mistaken. But it's a truly beautiful castle, the place is just magical.

aha, moment
I was reading this wonderful blog when I suddenly had an Aha! moment and a wave of inspiration swept me out to sea. And by sea I mean the world of photography which I have been out of for the past week. (After tearing some ligaments in an ankle, one realises it is not particularly realistic to dream of photographic expeditions.) So I'm going to whip out my Moleskine and write down all my ideas, just incase I forget them.
In the mean time, here's a little photo to keep you all happy for the time being. :)
Oh, and go read that blog. It rocks.

Oh, to be in London...

These photos are pretty old, actually. Took them on Mother's Day earlier in the year when we treated mommy dearest to a wonderful lunch in he favorite restaurant, Reubens, in Franschoek. It was a very nice day :) Can't wait for those lovely, summery days again.
